EU Citizens' Manifesto Workshops

We are delighted to invite all EU citizens interested in campaigning, advocacy and making collaborative connections to our Common Ground outreach events in Birmingham & Manchester.

🗓️ Birmingham: Wed 24th April, 6pm to 8pm - The Warehouse Café, 54-57 Allison St, Birmingham B5 5TH

🗓️ Manchester: Thursday 25th April, 6pm to 8pm - St Thomas Centre, Ardwick Green N, Manchester M12 6FZ

Let’s explore in detail  the proposals and values behind the EU Citizens’ Manifesto which will be launched on 7th May and see how they reflect the needs of your local community. Let’s connect with other EU groups and organisations in your area  and explore how we can best take the manifesto’s proposals forward.

The event will be an excellent opportunity to get to know each other, network as well as to learn and plan ways of amplifying our voices and collaborating to get the Manifesto on the agenda of our local policy and decision makers.

Who is the event for?

This workshop is aimed at EU citizens with links to their communities, organisations supporting or working with EU communities or in the wider migration sector as well as friends, allies and supporters  who are interested in campaigning and advocacy.

You are welcome if you are an EU citizen, a person with EU connections, volunteer, staff or board member or trustee of an organisation and you are interested in finding Common Ground, coming together to highlight positive contributions that EU citizens make to UK society and fostering good relations between EU and British citizens .

Please register your attendance. We will be serving refreshments and the venue is accessible but please do let us know if you have specific access or dietary requirements. We will be able to assist with travel expenses so please indicate if you’d like to avail of that and we’ll get in touch with the details & expenses policy.
